Former commander of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard
and member of the Board of Directors of the Quittapahilla Highlanders
Bob graduated from Penn State in journalism in 1954. He also graduated from the Air War College and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. During his career he was an aircraft commander of EC-121 and EC-130E aircraft. He commanded the 193rd Electronic Combat Group and the 193rd Special Operations Group and subsequently served as the Commander of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He served as committee chairman of the Air Force Reserve Forces Policy Council at the Pentagon. After his retirement he was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal, the Air Force's highest peacetime award.
